One of our members VE3NHX came across an article recently and thought it may be of interest to others.
It summarizes the archiving and digitizing a Ham Radio radio show that aired from 1991 to 1997, of which over 300 episodes have been digitized. The Ham Radio & More show, hosted by Len Winkler, began as one hour spot on KFNN 1510 AM in Phoenix, AZ, and then to 2-hour spots once it was syndicated.
The shows, though initially the digitization was started by Len in 2015, they were fully digitized as a part of the Digital Library of Amateur Radio & Communications (DLARC) in January of 2024. Having been funded by a grant from Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC) to create a free digital library for the radio community.
